The Teleological Argument

Question

1. Is there disorder in most parts of the universe? That is, high entropy? And if so, how does that fit with the argument from complexity? After all, if that is the case, then only very small parts of the universe have low entropy.
2. As time passes, does the universe’s entropy increase? If so, isn’t it a bit strange to draw conclusions from the universe’s high level of complexity when that is really only the middle of the process?
Thank you

Answer

High and low are relative terms. High and low relative to what? The argument from complexity is not based on a violation of the second law of thermodynamics; otherwise it would have to be thrown in the trash. I use the concept of entropy to illustrate the concept of complexity. I explained this in the first installment.
As stated, I did not draw conclusions from entropy.
