Question

Hello and blessings,
My wife underwent a treatment to destroy the uterine lining [ablation] — the treatment was done by inserting a balloon with boiling water into the uterus, which burns the walls of the uterus.
My question is whether such bleeding is considered a wound, and also what about opening the uterus, which as far as I know is forbidden even without blood.
