The Yenuka (Rabbi Shlomo Yehuda Be’eri)
Question
Recently I’ve been following the phenomenon of “the Yenuka” (Rabbi Shlomo Yehuda Be’eri), and I wanted to know whether the Rabbi thinks there is something special there in his way of thinking and learning Torah (from appearances, he has an admiring following that includes quite a few “great rabbis” in the Haredi public), or whether it’s more a case of “like a donkey carrying books”? I’m not referring to the “miracles and wonders” that he “performs,” only to his Torah scholarship and his way of learning.
Answer
I have no idea. I’m not familiar with him.
