Small children are educated at a very young age (literally already in kindergarten) about what “family” means. I’m used to a world in which children are taught: father + mother + children.
According to your view, the state should allow complete freedom regarding LGBT issues and relationships.
You present yourself as a liberal. Does a liberal like you think that in state education they should add to the existing content that is taught about family?
For example, a family with father + father or mother + mother, or a polyamorous family (families that in fact exist in the country).
It should be noted that small children do not know how to distinguish between the moral/religious/civic aspects of these issues.
From their perspective, only the template of what a “family” can be is being formed.

My opinion is that the school should not be dealing with all this. It should provide information, yes, but not convey a value judgment.

I don’t really understand your answer, Michi. It’s well known that in kindergartens (I’m not talking about schools) there are pictures of a family with a father, a mother, and a child, and children are also taught that this is what a family is.
The question is what happens if, within the formal/legal framework of state kindergarten education, an instruction is issued that to the pictures of a family containing a father + mother, they add pictures of father and father and also of a polyamorous family. Or more generally, that there should also be picture books in kindergartens that include same-sex families…
And of course, following what “Ayin” wrote above me, there is no real desire here for an actual discussion with the very young children, but only a desire to shape their minds.

I am not in favor of it because of halakhic reasons. That is why I send my children to religious education. In secular education, I do not see any obstacle to this. What is unclear here?
It is not clear at all. Is it legitimate that in secular education a child be educated to see himself as a cat? Is it legitimate that in secular education there be no problem with a man marrying his mother? Or a woman with her father? Of course, when this is done under the auspices of the sacred law of consent between adults.

But school is not a university where things are learned in a cold and systematic way. We’re talking about a social system that educates small children how to see the world in general. You could say that the aspiration should be that all schools at least relate to this issue neutrally; in my opinion that would be a more accurate way to phrase it. And there is also a need to provide an answer if a child asks questions about the subject. You can’t have him learn everything on his own.
