Q&A: Regarding Clips of the Rabbi
Regarding Clips of the Rabbi
Question
Hello, I see that lately the Rabbi has been appearing a lot on podcasts, which is of course a blessing. The issue is that sometimes they put out only short clips which, without explanation, can look very arrogant to people who don’t know the Rabbi. I’m putting a link here to such a video (the Rabbi can skim the comments and see…).
Maybe the Rabbi could consider emphasizing what is appropriate to cut and which clips to release, so that people won’t come to treat him with disrespect.

Answer
First of all, I have no control over the clips they take out of my remarks. Beyond that, I glanced at what you sent and didn’t see anything there that struck me as arrogant or problematic. I didn’t look at the comments because I don’t have Facebook, but I’m also not terribly impressed by comments like that.
Heaven forbid, I didn’t mean that the clip was arrogant, only that people in the comments took it that way.
I sent it precisely so that the Rabbi would look at the comments.
Have a good holiday, Rabbi
