Hello Rabbi,
Is it permitted to study the laws of the bathroom while inside a bathroom?
And the laws of unclean places while in unclean places?
If not, is it permitted to think about the fact that one may not study those laws? Or is that too considered thinking about Jewish law?
And how can one keep those laws without thinking about them?

By logic it would seem forbidden, except when this is required in order to observe the law. The Mishnah Berurah also wrote that it is permitted to think words of Torah in order to separate oneself or others from a prohibition.
