Question

Hello Rabbi, for several years now I’ve been asking myself: why is a Temple needed? In my life I’ve never felt any need to offer a sacrifice. I understand that the main claim is that it brings down abundance, spirituality, the Divine Presence, and general good into the world. But I don’t understand what that has to do with a Temple. Is God waiting for a special building just so He can do that?
