Question
The Rabbi uploaded today, Friday, the lecture “Doubt and Probability in Jewish Law,” lecture 9. Since lecture 9 was already last week, here are three possible explanations:
1. By mistake they wrote 9 instead of 10
2. Last week they wrote 9 instead of 8 (and so on back to the source of the mistake)
3. This lecture series is numbered according to a geometric progression that repeats the same number every 9 units
We’re enjoying the lectures very much, Rabbi, thank you so much.
Answer
3 is not a geometric progression.
There are other possibilities too, for example that lecture 9 was split.
Fixed. Many thanks.
Discussion on Answer
President of the Khazars (I’m not willing to be king in a country that doesn’t elect me. On second thought, in a country that does elect me—even less so).
You’ve found the place of my disgrace, O King of the Khazars.
