Question

I heard you say in one podcast that in your view the creation story in Genesis is a mythical story, and I wanted to ask: why would God convey the story in that way? Why would He give the Jewish people a book that, just like the other religions, contains stories that on paper sound illogical (the story of Genesis, the splitting of the Red Sea, the story of Jonah, etc.)
After all, He is God, the one who created everything, the wisest of all—so why would He do it this way? Why would He make it hard for a person to believe?
