Q&A: Privacy in Correspondence with the Bot
Privacy in Correspondence with the Bot
Question
Are the questions (and answers) that I ask the bot in principle visible to anyone, for example the site editor? Is there any concern that certain questions I ask the bot might end up here on the site and be published publicly?
Answer
I passed it on to Oren to answer.

And what about NotebookLM?
@Asimov
There is no exposure of one person’s conversations to another.
I ran a check: I asked someone I know to log in from a completely different account, and he couldn’t see the conversation I had.
You can do the same check and verify it, but in my humble opinion, Google set it up so that there is no connection between the chat of one account and that of another…
Thanks, Oren. Actually, it was clear to me that questions from one account aren’t visible in another; my main question is whether the questions are visible to the staff.
@Asimov
The name is Asaf. Oren kindly gave me the opportunity to create the notebook for you.
And as for your question—it amounts to the same thing: each account manages its own conversations privately, and we have no ability to see what is written there.
Thank you very much, Asaf!
I’m using the notebook and enjoying it very much!
We have no access at all to questions asked to the Michi Bot. The privacy is the same as with ordinary ChatGPT questions.
