What is so great about eating fish on Shabbat, and is there an authoritative source for the saying, "Whoever eats fish on Shabbat is saved from fish"?

I think the source is the Ari. One could read sermons about this, but I don't see the point. Overall, there is a point in enjoying Shabbat with meat and fish and all kinds of delicacies.
