Hello Rabbi Michael!
Why do we continue to wear a kippah/not increase its size to the size prescribed in halakhah? So many people do not wear the "head covering" prescribed in halakhah.
Is it because the religious public is still largely interested in sectoralism?
What do you think about the kippah and can we say a blessing without the kippah we wear today?

I didn't understand what halakhic lesson you were referring to. Some believe that blessing a kippah with a veil is an actual halakhic prohibition. I'm not convinced, but we certainly haven't deviated from the rule of custom.
