Experiments in Prayers

שו"תExperiments in Prayers
שאל לפני 3 שנים

Hello, the majority.
I searched the site but couldn't find it. Is there an article in which you respond to Rabbi Moshe Rat's claims regarding experiments in prayer?
In columns 280 and 298 you respond to his claims, but among your words you also write that to this day no scientific experiment has been conducted on the power and effectiveness of prayer, since according to your method there is no divine conception, therefore it is not answered.
But in the following article, Rabbi Ratt presents a number of different experiments and I would be happy to hear your response.
In addition, as I understand it, the studies he presents (at least in part) do not involve experiments conducted on Jews. Is it relevant for us to observe successful results of an experiment that was conducted on Gentiles and justify the power of prayer for Jews? After all, they do not pray to the same God (at least not to the one they need to)

I addressed this in the appendix of the God Playing Dice books. There I also linked to reviews of these experiments. I didn't understand your question about relevance. Are you looking for the truth or do you want to lie for the sake of your faith? If you are looking for truth, you must test every claim of every religion with every experiment. If you want to lie, I am not an advisor to liars.
