Is Christianity a rational religion?
Hello, Rabbi.
The rabbi wrote that belief in Christianity is not irrational, and that there is no point in actually dealing with this issue. https://mikyab.net/%D7%A9%D7%95%D7%AA/%d7%94%d7%a0%d7%a6%d7%a8%d7%95%d7%aa-%d7%94%d7%99%d7%90-%d7%93%d7%aa-%d7%a8%d7%a6%d7%99%d7%95%d7%a0%d7%90%d7%9c%d7%99%d7%aa.
[In the MKA, the Rabbi wrote a bit about the UA. https://mikyab.net/%D7%A9%D7%95%D7%AA/%d7%94%d7%a4%d7%a8%d7%a2%d7%aa-%d7%94%d7%a0%d7%a6%d7%a8%d7%95%d7%aa%5D.
Why aren't the rabbi's words similar to 'Pascal's Wager'? Indeed, if we hypothetically define that the probability that there is an obligation to observe the halakha (Toshefa) is 2/1, then unless one gambles that the Christian faith is not true, there is an epistemic doubt as to whether the halakha is binding?
