Many troubles

Hello Rabbi,
I am writing to you after trying every other channel I could think of in recent months.
Canceling an engagement got me into trouble with a family very close to perhaps the greatest rabbi in the national religious community.
I am experiencing threats to my life, harassment, slander, and all under the protection of the rabbi whose name I prefer not to mention. I recently left my home and moved into a shelter.
Together with a support group, I contacted the police, the senior rabbis, and even the Chief Rabbinate. In response, they all unanimously answered me on the spot (!) that considering the family's closeness to the respected rabbi, there was nothing they could do. Not to ask, not to inquire, not to investigate, and certainly not to take action.
I'm asking your opinion – what else can be done? I'm afraid it won't stop.
