Musar according to Rav Kook

שו"תMusar according to Rav Kook
שאל לפני 3 שנים

The rabbi contradicts the moves among those who stand against the system of Rabbi Kook, who identifies religious values as divine morality.
I want to ask, it can be said that this is a conflict within the normative system of morality, so that there is no problem in principle but only a question of how to decide in practice. Then it would be similar to Sartre's dilemma between helping his mother and fighting the Nazis. Both are moral values, which have a contradiction in them. Similarly, Rabbi Kook's method, which says that everything is moral, except that there is a contradiction in the law of the bastard between understandable morality and divine morality, but on a principled level they are the same. What is wrong with this method? I would be happy to hear your explanation.

I didn't understand what you were saying. If the category of divine morality is different from morality as we understand it, then what you call "divine morality" is what I call halakha (or "religious values"). Do you want to change the name? To your health.
