Non-Muslim milk powder and the breaking of vows (related to this week's parashah :))
At home, we made sure for years not to eat foreign milk powder,
My children encounter cases where friends only have foreign milk powder.
We studied the issue together and saw that there are many reasons to make it easier and they want to make it easier.
Do they need to do a vow renewal? (One below the Bar Mitzvah and one above)

I think it is possible to make it easier without a permission for two reasons: You have reached a different halachic conclusion. It is not a vow. Not a vow made verbally but in actual action. A permission for vows must be included on the eve of the Lord's Supper.
