On Kabbalah and Harmonism

שו"תOn Kabbalah and Harmonism
שאל לפני 10 שנים

I was talking about a student of Rabbi Levi Nachmani, because he wrote about him (Rav Nachmani) that he would tell his students after they finished the Ramchal to study the Gra, and he himself would express himself that Chabad is the Einstein of Kabbalah. So I called him and we talked about the subject of methods in Kabbalah, and he ultimately said that every method is 100% right in itself, but every method is a different examination, and therefore no one is truly 100% right in its truth. Is this what you mean by the harmonious approach? Also, do you think that in Kabbalah too there is a legitimate error and that in the end only one person was right?

I don't know who Levi Nachmani is. Indeed, that is the intention. The things are explained in the issue of Gittin and (Zevub Mazza and Nahala Kafid Nima Mazza and Kafid). Regarding Kabbalah, I do not have a clear position. I have great doubts regarding its origin and, therefore, its validity. It is clear that there are quite a few useful and interesting intuitions there. I see no need to say that everyone is right. —————————————————————————————— Asker (another): Does the Rabbi stand by Prof. Yeshayahu Levovitz's position regarding the Zohar and its acceptance? —————————————————————————————— Rabbi: It is not clear to me what their origin is, but they contain quite a few important intuitions.
