Pascal – Why it is worth being religious – economic and perhaps even moral implications

Nice, but not true, of course. Pascal's consideration is addressed to a single person, and a single person will not lead to the problematic result of masses of charlatans. The same applies to a single person considering whether to take an ineffective medicine. Only if Kant's categorical imperative is introduced does the consideration become correct. And even then, I doubt to what extent a single person who can earn a lot needs to make a Kantian calculation such as this. For his part, the world will be filled with charlatans, he wants to be cured.
