Rational thinking in Judaism

שו"תRational thinking in Judaism
שאל לפני 4 שנים

We see people who are God-fearing and busy serving God. They study and observe the easy as the hard, but everything comes from tradition, from education, from inner feelings and simple faith. In fact, he doesn't know how to explain intellectually why he does what he does, why he believes in God, who says he is right, etc.
And even if we assume that he does start asking questions and delving into understanding all of this, he won't really be able to understand everything because it's not at his level, but on the other hand, he will become very cold and spiritually deteriorate.

What is the importance of such worship of God? That is, is there a place for worship of God, and in general everything related to Judaism, out of emotions, simple faith, belief in tradition without in-depth and independent understanding?
Because in reality, most people can't understand everything, and it will take them years before they reach the right conclusions.

Every person reaches their decisions in a way that seems right to them. There is no obligation for everyone to be a philosopher. If a person has intuition and acts on it, that is perfectly fine.
