Religion and science
Hello, Your Honor.
Does religion contradict science and thus not 'permit' a certain person to accept any positions? I assume you would answer no and say that religion talks about values and science about facts or something like that (please correct me if I'm wrong). But if pure logical proof of the non-existence of God or His non-unity appears, wouldn't such a thing overshadow the specific commandments that command us to believe in it? Thank you very much.

Religious belief does refer to facts, but very few. The main one is the existence of God. If there is proof or a good argument that there is no God, then of course the belief must be abandoned.
