Studying Gemara with the help of Bior Schottenstein
Hello Rabbi Michael,
I wanted to ask you about studying Gemara with the help of Bior Schottenstein. Some claim that it is better to study without it, but with its help I can learn faster and understand better. I would love to hear your opinion on the subject.

It is indeed better to study without, but I don't think it's worth it if it requires a lot of effort from you. Maybe you can study the Gemara Schottenstein, but try the Gemara itself and check the commentary only when necessary. The ultimate goal is also to create the ability to learn independently.
