stupidity

Anyone who has come to the conclusion that too many rabbis are simply stupid.
Or too many idiots are serving as rabbis
Mainly in understanding reality.
The alternative that they are evil is certainly much more problematic.
(They support government corruption and are led astray by Bibi. In conversations with many of them, they don't act like fools, but simply buy his bullshit as the last of his people's fools-supporters.)
 
Is it permissible or perhaps even obligatory to examine laws in their sources, much less trust them and not see anything binding in their rulings because they are stupid (perhaps most of them)?
The question is real and not a troll.
Therefore, A. Please save from the decree of deletion.
B. And if possible, the answer of the esteemed Rabbi.
