supervision

Hello Rabbi
I saw several discussions on the site about supervision and I didn't understand if everything is known and planned in advance, why is supervision even needed?
(And even though God does not know what a person will choose, He knows the options he has and planned in advance that if he chooses this way, then it will be this way, and if he chooses differently, it will be different.)
