The claim there that education claims that most judges are right in most cases is a kind of a priori assumption of logic, without any real reason. A kind of symmetry consideration maintains that there is no reason to prefer the opposite.
I wonder if this can't be derived from the law of large numbers once we define the qualification required to argue as one that at the very least allows him to be more likely to be right in the individual case?
(And hence there is less chance of making a mistake with the plurality of opinions)
