Regarding the argument from complexity, in statistics we know that for every event whose probability is as low as zero, the probability of it happening in an infinite number of trials tends to 1. Note that I am not assuming an infinite number of different universes in space, but rather I am only talking about a uniform length of time in which there are an infinite number of different trials. There may have been several times one bang or another until an bang was created that was suitable enough for intelligent life to form. Regarding the idea that according to current physics, time began with the Big Bang, this is based purely on science. What if tomorrow morning they find a way to say that time is indeed infinite, what is the philosophical argument independent of current science that supports the view from complexity in a probabilistic way?
