The order in circumcision laws in the Rambam
Perhaps the Rabbi could explain why Maimonides writes in Chapter 1 of the Mitzvah of Circumcision long discussions about the circumcision of slaves and types of slaves, and only in Chapter 2 does he begin to write what circumcision even is?! Apparently the order is reversed. And I didn't see that they addressed this.

I don't see what needs to be addressed. There's no fluff there. He starts with the obligation to circumcise his son, and then there are some laws that mention that circumcision applies not only to a Jewish child but also to a foreigner and a slave. After determining who must be circumcised, he goes into the laws of circumcision itself. That's all.
