A Torah commandment as a reservation
Greetings to the Honorable Rabbi,
I heard in one of your classes that there are no Torah commandments that are restrictive and that each one has a purpose that affects the world (or the upper worlds) in a certain way.
You gave some examples, but I didn't hear the example regarding the king's commandments, which are explicitly written as a restriction, such as horses not to be returned to Egypt, etc.
I suppose anything can be interpreted, but on the face of it the Torah actually says what the reasons are for the above commandments.
How is it going?

Indeed, there are exceptions, at least according to some Rishonim, such as uniqueness and not being seen. Specifically with regard to a king, this is a disagreement over the Tannaim. According to R.S., who requires a reason for reading, there is no reason here, but rather an additional command. See Sanhedrin 21:1.
