Q&A: Question regarding the Rabbi’s remarks about Rabbi Druckman
Question regarding the Rabbi’s remarks about Rabbi Druckman
Question
Hello Rabbi,
Lately I’ve heard from quite a few people a lot of anger about what you wrote, and how you wrote it, about Rabbi Druckman (in one of the recent posts, as I recall). One of them, a Torah scholar who is interested in your writing, told me that although he had considered coming to the launch evening for the trilogy next week, he has changed his mind and does not plan to come because of his anger.
Do you think perhaps the remarks were excessive, or that they could have been said differently?
I’m asking because of several angry reactions I’ve heard, and I wanted to bring it to your attention.
Answer
Many thanks. I explained there why I write things in that way.

Column 271. This coming Wednesday at Bar-Ilan. I sent out WhatsApp messages, and there will also be a notice in the newspaper. I’ll ask Oren to put it here as well.
If someone wants to organize one somewhere else, there can be one there too. I’m not dealing with that, aside from the fact that I’d be happy to take part if they invite me.
Hello— which post are you referring to? And when is the launch? Will there also be one in Jerusalem??
