How long does it take you to write a post? And how much thought do you put into it?

Question

Answer

It varies. A few hours. Usually the idea exists before the writing, of course, and the time is mainly spent putting it into writing (and a bit on shaping it).

Sorry, our teacher, but from reading your books (the Quartet and others) it doesn’t seem like this is a matter of dealing with fields without knowing the details. I’m not speaking only about mere breadth of knowledge, but about straightforward understanding, and in many Torah fields. So I’ll sharpen my question:
A. Back then, did you devote more time to breadth of study or to in-depth analysis?
B. An unrelated question: can the books of the Quartet be purchased anywhere at discounted prices? (I know there is a digital edition, but that’s not convenient).

My reply:
A. I hardly studied for breadth at all. In my opinion, breadth study is almost worthless.
B. In the store shown here on the left, or from me at the university when I get back there..
