Question
I work in a factory.
Palestinian workers work with me as well.
A Palestinian worker was injured.
I called Magen David Adom.
1.
So they would give instructions on how to treat him until they arrived.
2.
So they would come themselves to evacuate and save him.
The Israeli employer is angry, and his claim is that you do not call Magen David Adom, because it complicates things for him with National Insurance, health tax, and various authorities.
Rather, they evacuate him to the village, and there the Palestinians treat him as they see fit, and the employer pays them for the treatment.
That apparently comes out much cheaper than treatment in Israel (7 times cheaper?).
It also does not entangle him with the various Israeli authorities.
Bottom line, the workers of course ask that if they are injured, Magen David Adom should be called for them and they should not be evacuated to the village.
What is the correct and proper thing to do?

In principle, the workers should agree on this with the employer. If the treatment in the village is not at an adequate medical level, then Magen David Adom should be called.

I don’t have an answer. If there is concern that the treatment there will not heal them or will harm them, my inclination is that Magen David Adom should be called. But I am not sure, because after all, if they were injured there they would be treated there, and the fact that the Authority does not have adequate medical care is its problem, not ours. We are not supposed to solve the world’s medical problems. On the other hand, the injury happened to them in Israel, and we do bear responsibility. This needs to be worked out between them.
What we have
is that the workers want Magen David Adom (they claim the treatment in the Palestinian Authority is negligent),
and the employer wants the Palestinian Authority (cheap, and no intervention from the authorities).
They have not reached an agreement.
My assumption (and not actual knowledge) is that the treatment in Israel is much better and much more expensive than in the Palestinian Authority.
