Does everyone see the same thing?
Hello, Your Honor!
I read your book 'Truth, Even If It's Stable' and I really enjoyed it – thank you!
I realized that we have two general senses:
A) The form of inference and various proofs based on arithmetical logic (what is called in Kabbalistic language the 'power of understanding'). B) A more fundamental level, of visual penetration into the essence of things, the 'eyes of the mind' and 'intuition' (what is called in Kabbalistic language the 'power of wisdom').
I asked: In the first, logical way, all humans are equal, no one thinks that 1+1=2, is that also true in the second way? Does everyone see the same way? That is, there is certainly debate and it seems that there are those who see differently, but do they simply not see well, do they have a vision problem, and when the problem is corrected will they all see the same thing? Or are there fundamentally different forms of vision, and everyone sees differently?
