What do you think about the new or renewed movements that have been gaining momentum lately?
For example, the Rambamist movement (similar to Dor De’ah) and various Karaite-like movements that work toward carrying out the Torah according to its plain meaning.
I see similar ideas in them—a kind of “restoring the crown to its former glory.”
