Unfortunately, I have no proof of that, and it seems to me that no one has any proof of it. You know the basic facts (that He created us, the world, and its laws), and you can assess the situation yourself as you understand it.
If you have difficulty generating love for Him on the emotional plane, perhaps the following two sources may be of some use to you (this probably won’t help you with the task itself, but it may reassure you that perhaps this is not really the task):
