Discussion on Answer
The Rabbi has said countless times: because it leads to an infinite regress, and then you’ll ask who created the creator who created the last creator… and then there’s no choice but to assume that no one created the Creator, because otherwise He wouldn’t be called the Creator but would himself be created. And that contradicts the very definition in your question, “Who created the Creator?” Understand?
Happy holiday.
What are you asking? Do you want me to guess? If there’s a specific point, please go ahead and write it, and then I can try to address it. In general, I wrote about this in the second booklet here on the site, and you can look there.
Okay. I don’t have a specific point in the question—other than this general question. Meaning, why can’t one argue this logically? It seems to me that Moshe gave a nice explanation. In any case, thanks for responding. I really will read it.
To Moshe: I understand. Thank you very much. Happy holiday.
I’m just asking about your explanation for why this question is not valid.
