I don't think so. There isn't really any argument there. Even the claim that we have no choice doesn't actually appear there. His conclusion is that he doesn't know, and only as a psychologist does he recommend living as if we have choice. Well, nu, so be it. I agree with him about the unconvincing excuses (I wrote this myself).
