It is not connected to my approach, because the production is not being done by a person whom I know to be an atheist. Beyond that, the production is done for me (for the public in general), and that is forbidden even if done by a non-Jew.
The accepted permission is because of public life-saving needs, for institutions like hospitals and the army. What we have here is a case of adding extra quantity to an already permitted activity. I seem to recall that in Minchat Shlomo there is a more fundamental leniency on this issue (and Rabbi Moshe Levi discussed it in Menuchat Ahavah), but I do not remember it at the moment.
There is no desecration of God’s name here, since there is a halakhic permission, and no one even imagines that it is forbidden.
