Q&A: First Book on Talmudic Logic
First Book on Talmudic Logic
Question
Hello Rabbi Michi, I’m in the middle of reading your first book in the Talmudic Logic series, and I’m enjoying it מאוד! How fortunate we are to have merited this…
From time to time I stop to work out the tables in order to make sure I understand, and there were a few times when I didn’t get the same result as what’s written. I’d be glad if you could point out my mistakes, or confirm that these are typos—especially since in some cases the wording explains the result I got, not the one printed.
Page 145, optimal model for 9a, in assignment 1—there should be an arrow from H to A.
Page 171, model for 10.2b, in assignment 0—there shouldn’t be an arrow between G and T,S.
Page 210, diagrams 14.7, upper-right square (1,0)—there should be an arrow from C to A.
Thank you very much for enriching the learning; I’m enjoying it a lot. Mario.
Answer
Hello. I don’t have time right now to go through it, but I know that a few errors did slip in there. If you understood it and worked through it, you’re probably right.
