The Sages issued a ruling, and one of them knew that they had erred, or a student who is qualified to issue rulings—what is the law? Do we say that since he accepted upon himself the obligation to heed the sages, he should act in accordance with their words, or perhaps their authority is no greater than that of the Great Court, and he should act according to his own view?
