Hello Rabbi,
There is a common assumption that the right is more violent than the left, from Rabin’s murder, the massacre at the Cave of the Patriarchs, and so on, which supposedly seems like a simple fact.
But the big and central problem is the collective blindness toward the dictatorship, violence, and brutishness of the left.
1. The dictatorship of the Supreme Court, which you would have to be blind and mentally ill not to see.
2. The media: when all sorts of commentators on Channels 12 and 13 call Israel Hayom “Bibiton” and “rags,” which may indeed be true, while they themselves are violent, as the major media channels broadcast extreme liberal left-wing propaganda and impose terror on any tiny hint of something that does not fit exactly within the boundaries they decide on. You can notice this in how Amit Segal started speaking a bit and how careful he has to be, as if we were living in communist Russia, while opposite him sits Amnon Abramovich, speechifying, croaking, and preaching violently. That is how the media behaves—with violence and brutishness: the violent imposition of their views, the brutish denial of this situation.
3. Satire: the violence of Eretz Nehederet and Gav HaUma. When they make fun of the Gerrer Rebbe or Rabbi Ovadia in the name of liberalism, that’s excellent. Let’s see those heroes from those programs do a sketch about the Supreme Court, the LGBT community, and our Arab cousins. In this way they are violent and brutish while being convinced that they are liberals.
