Question

Hello Rabbi, my friends and I had an argument last night about the legitimacy of Otzma Yehudit and whether it is even appropriate to vote for them. As part of their arguments in favor, they cited you as support for the claim that there is no problem with voting for them. I generally think that’s a weak argument, because even if the Rabbi thinks it’s okay, that doesn’t necessarily mean it’s correct.
But still, I’m very troubled by the possibility that the Rabbi thinks one should vote for them, because I do regard the Rabbi as someone with a logical worldview. So I wanted to ask—if this doesn’t go beyond the Rabbi’s privacy—whether he can say whom he recommends voting for, or at least simply say whether or not he votes for Otzma.
