Does public humiliation apply in direct arguments held in front of everyone? After all, when someone wins an argument, that involves publicly humiliating the side that loses the argument.
It should be noted that on this forum the situation is not symmetrical, because everyone knows you, whereas the others are anonymous. (Could it be that because of this the righteous people of the forum let you win the argument? 🙂 😉 )
Does public humiliation in front of many also apply in other games and competitions (soccer, chess) in which the losers may be embarrassed in everyone else’s eyes?

I don’t see any humiliation at all in losing an argument. Someone who sees it that way shouldn’t enter into an argument.
