Q&A: The Representation-Group Framework in Kiddushin
The Representation-Group Framework in Kiddushin
Question
Hello Rabbi Michael. I give a lesson on tractate Kiddushin. When I took a yeshiva-style analytical learning course, I was exposed, among other things, to a lesson on the representation-group framework in Kiddushin. I would like to ask your permission to use the file they received for the sake of my weekly lesson. Also—am I allowed to distribute the entire file to the participants in the lesson? Of course, while making it clear that they may not distribute it further since there are copyrights. P.S. A group of about 12 adults participates in the lesson, with very diverse general and Torah education. The intention is to use the principles explained in the file in order to explain the Talmudic passage in Kiddushin regarding betrothal by the law of a guarantor, the “therefore” case, and the law of both of them.
Answer
With great pleasure. There are no copyrights at all, and there is no need to mention anything. You may also freely distribute the file further.
Thank you
