Q&A: A Through Alley
A Through Alley
Question
The new course is called Introduction to Philosophical Thinking 1.
What is the difference between philosophical thinking itself and an introduction to philosophical thinking? And could you give an example or two of topics that might appear in the syllabus of course number 2?
[The confidence of a timid type like me weakens when it sees a serious course that is nevertheless only an introduction, and number 1 at that. A small comfort was that the course is not called: Collection of Notes 1 to Preface 1 to Opening 1 to Introduction to Philosophical Thinking 1 — General Overview.]
Answer
In course 2 there could be specific examples. Here this is a general introduction to the philosophical framework.
