Question

I heard lectures from the Rabbi, and in the course of speaking he talked about weakness of will, and said that the solution he proposes is something “I’ve been thinking about for years, and I’m not sure about it, and I don’t know whether it answers the problem.” The Rabbi didn’t explain. Could I please get an explanation of why it does not answer the problem? At first glance, the model the Rabbi proposed seems to answer it well.
