Q&A: Summarize on Wikipedia with Ease
Summarize on Wikipedia with Ease
Question
Hello Rabbi Michael Abraham, may God preserve you together with Descartes and Kant, peace be upon them.
The poet Hanan Ben Ari, may he live long, sings against generalizations, summaries, and blessed social initiatives—Wikipedia.
1. Do you think that after we internalized that every person is an individual, separate, unique, etc., this whole thing hasn’t been exaggerated to the point that it’s impossible to conduct any discussion without saying “not all Haredim / religious people / Arabs / Muslims / Vizhnitz / Darfuris,” etc.?
Maybe it’s possible to speak in a somewhat more “simplistic” way, connected to something concrete. It’s more convenient that way, and it also makes it possible to summarize on Wikipedia for the enjoyment of the knowledge-seekers among us.
2. In your opinion, is the difference between Einstein and Bohr, Schrödinger and company very large? If not, what’s the explanation, and if so, what is it? Is it a different essence or something else?
With many blessings, Sihon Zmilovsky
Answer
I debated whether to delete this gibberish, but given how much I detest censorship, I’ll make do with laying down some ground rules as a warning: a. You should write clearly and formulate exactly what the question is. b. There is no point in posting here a general question that would require an entire course as the answer.

Honorable Rabbi, thank you for not deleting the question; that’s something that can hurt a bit in the soul.

2. As someone who sweated blood over equations in theoretical physics and so on and so on, what do you think about Albert Einstein’s unique genius relative to the physicists of his generation with whom he studied, spoke, and so on and so on?
