Hello,
In various fields, you see that there is the top row of the very greatest, and then there are a few isolated individuals who are even above them.
For example, in non-Hebrew pop music when I was young—with all due respect to all the singers—Michael Jackson and Madonna were considered “above” almost everyone. If someone watches a live performance of Jackson that you can find on YouTube, there’s just no denying it—there’s something in him that simply isn’t there in others.
In contemporary singing, there are quite a few pop singers, but Noa Kirel is considered above them.
In politics, there’s no need to write who is considered above everyone…
In sports, there are the very best, and then there are the few who are above even them, like Ori Sasson for example in judo, and so on.
And so too in art, science, creativity, and many other areas.
Even in holiness, you could say there is one level above the very highest level, as in Religious Zionism, for example, where people see Rabbi Kook.
My question is: what is the mental component found in these people called? What is it, essentially, that they have which those on the level below them do not have (and those even further below them)?
Some would call it a “higher soul,” some would call it powerful spiritual energy, some would call it a greater will. What do you call it, Rabbi?
