Q&A: Notebooks? Books?
Notebooks? Books?
Question
Hello Rabbi, I hope you’re doing well and that time is passing pleasantly! Could the Rabbi explain for a moment, for those of us who don’t really understand, how your books are organized? What are those notebooks? Which book is worth starting with? (Maybe it generally depends on what interests the reader.) Where is there a general overview of the books?
Answer
There is no general overview. The order and choice of books really do depend on your areas of interest.
The notebooks are here on the site, and an updated version of them appears in the first volume of The Foundational trilogy (which is the first in my latest trilogy).

And in addition there are also the lessons on the Talmud, under the tab Written Lessons on the Talmud (some of them were also given orally on YouTube)
Tuvik, here’s a general overview for you:
– A trilogy on philosophy and Jewish law that presents an ordered religious and philosophical framework in a systematic way (The Foundational One, No Man Has Power over the Wind, Moves Among the Standing)
– An analytical-synthetic quartet (Two Carts and a Hot-Air Balloon, That Which Exists and That Which Does Not, Man Is Like Grass, The Spirit of Law)
– Books published by Yedioth Books (God Plays Dice on evolution, The Sciences of Freedom on free choice, Truth and Not Stable on skepticism and fundamentalism)
– A 12-part series on Talmudic logic
– Middah Tovah: It Shall Send Forth Its Roots in volumes (which is an analysis of Maimonides’ fourteen roots in Sefer HaMitzvot)
– Middah Tovah: The weekly Torah portion in light of the thirteen hermeneutical principles (divided into four books. On the site there is also a link to Drive that takes you to a general folder of those articles, each one separately)
– Middah Tovah: Meta-Jewish law in the weekly Torah portion (divided into three parts: On the Path of the Commandments, In the Shadow of Wisdom, To Perform Your Commandments. On the site there is also a general folder of the articles that appear in the books in Word format)
