Q&A: Two Thoughts That Reminded Me of Your Ideas
Two Thoughts That Reminded Me of Your Ideas
Question
Rabbi Michael, hello. We met at Netivot Olam, if you remember. I approached you about joining the establishment of the community of Moreshet in the Misgav bloc, at the end of the 1980s, and you agreed, but because of the brainwashing I went through I became dependent on rabbis whom today I understand were the equivalent of an arrogant poor man. Of course, the matter collapsed. I’m your age, but I wasn’t born into the ruling agenda, and as Golda already said, “They’re not nice.” My point of view understands and sees from a different direction. What do you think about my organizing a meeting with a few more of my interesting friends who went through the trauma of Haredi repentance, in order to clarify things and try to see some light for the future? Best regards, Itzik Carmeli
Answer
Possible. We need to coordinate a place and time and prepare a schedule and topics so that it will be useful.
