Question
For quite a while I’ve been trying to figure out for myself how to reach the truth. Recently I started organizing my thoughts, and I began writing an article that is starting to bring me some clarity. Today I came across this site for the first time, and in the past I heard interviews and debates with the Rabbi, and I connect with the style. If the Rabbi has time, I’d be happy if you could give your opinion on it, thank you.
By the way, in connection with the group you want to found, I thought to suggest a name: Thinks, or in the plural Thinkers. I’m from Haredi culture, but I don’t define myself that way; I define myself as a thinker.
And you’re right, I don’t belong to any group. I connect with your style.
Answer
Hello.
You can send it to me by email. If it isn’t long, I’ll try to read it.
I don’t know which group you mean. There is The Third Path, which has already been established, and you are welcome to join (search on Google). The group is built around values and goals. I don’t see any point in creating a group for thinkers. The question is what they think, and what they do with what they think, and what someone who identifies with it but is not among the thinkers would do.

Hello Rabbi, I sent the article by email to wordpress@mikyab.net. If that isn’t the right email, please tell me which email to send it to.
Regarding the group, I meant The Third Path, whose values I identify with.
I suggested calling it Thinkers, because “The Third Path” defines itself, or its existence, in relation to other groups, and I think it has an existence in its own right, and its justification is not because of others but because of the values it offers.
The name Thinkers, in my opinion, is a neutral value that everyone can identify with. It has several aspects: also a positive aspect, meaning that we think, and also it is not oppositional, meaning this is how we think. Thinking is man’s distinctive virtue. And in the end, if I’m not mistaken, that is the characteristic of the group: to think and not go along with the herd.
You wrote, the question is what they think. That is exactly the point of thinking. It can be taken as a search for the truth, which in my view is the idea here, but it can also be interpreted differently.
You wrote, what do they do with what they think? Well, the point is that someone who thinks also thinks about what to do with what they think.
You wrote, what will someone who identifies with it but is not among the thinkers do? Then let him think for himself what he will do.
At the end of the day, I suggested an idea that seems nice to me, but of course it’s only an idea / thought and nothing more.
